David Carvalho

David Carvalho has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. David started their career as a Developer at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra in 2006. David then worked as a Junior Developer at PT Sistemas de Informação, S.A. from 2008 to 2009. David then joined WIT-Software as a Software Engineer, where they gained experience in HTML development for mobile platforms and worked on various projects including banking apps and location-based apps. In 2013, David joined Ocado as a Software Developer, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of the Ocado On The Go iOS application, implementing new features and adapting the app to new UI/UX guidelines. David then progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer before joining Ocado Technology as a Team Lead in 2017. At Ocado Technology, David led a team and continued to contribute to software development. In 2019, they joined Booking.com as an Engineering Manager, where they held a managerial role until 2023. Currently, David Carvalho is employed as an Engineering Manager at Fluro, starting in February 2023.

David Carvalho completed their education at Universidade de Coimbra. David obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatic Engineering from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Masters Degree in Informatics from 2007 to 2009.
