Jason de Carvalho

Jason de Carvalho has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they are working as the CTO at Fluro, where they are responsible for building a market-leading personal loans platform and establishing an engineering culture focused on customer satisfaction. Prior to Fluro, Jason worked at Ocado Technology for over 10 years. In their most recent role as Head of Architecture, they led the development of logistics, supply chain, and micro-fulfilment solutions for the Ocado Smart Platform. Jason also served as a Software Development Manager, Team Leader, and Senior Software Engineer during their tenure at Ocado. Additionally, they gained research experience at BT through two separate placements in 2007 and 2008. Jason's expertise lies in software development, geospatial systems, route scheduling, and microservices architecture.

Jason de Carvalho completed their education at Durham University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence Planning, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Machine Learning, and Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera.
