Micah Ulrich is a highly experienced professional with a diverse range of roles in various industries. In 2018, Micah co-founded Flux Hybrids and assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer. They also held the role of Co-Founder at the same company. In 2020, Micah worked as a Power Electronics Systems Engineer at Wolfspeed for a brief period. Prior to that, in 2019, they served as a Student Services Contractor at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Additionally, Micah has extensive research experience, having worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University from 2019 to 2020. They were also an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the same university from 2017 to 2020, where they were involved in various projects related to polymer composites, ultrasound imaging, and simulation modeling. In 2017, Micah served as the Electrical Team Leader at SolarPack, where they led a team in designing electrical systems for a solar-electric vehicle. They also worked as a Controls Engineering Co-op at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC in 2018.
Micah Ulrich pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, completing it between the years 2016 and 2019. Following this, Micah furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, which spanned from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Micah is enrolled in North Carolina State University once again, but this time for a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Expectedly, Micah's pursuit of the MS degree will take place from 2022 to 2023.
