Ian Loyo

Ian Loyo has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Ian is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Flux Power since March 2022. Prior to this role, Ian was the IT and Infrastructure Manager at Flux Power from February 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Flux Power, Ian worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Skyriver IT from August 2019 to February 2020 and as a Systems Administrator at San Diego County Office of Education until August 2019.

Ian also gained experience as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Daybreak Game Company LLC from December 2018 to March 2019.

Their earlier work experience includes a significant tenure at Vigor Systems, Inc., where they served as the Information Technology Manager from March 2012 to December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Vigor Systems, Inc. from March 2009 to March 2012.

Ian's career started at Verimatrix, where they worked as a Systems Engineer from January 2008 to March 2009.

Ian Loyo has a diverse education history in the field of computer science and cybersecurity. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Universidad Simón Bolívar Oficial. Ian further specialized in networking by completing a certificate program in Networking Administration from MiraCosta College in 2010 and a course in Computer Network Administration with an emphasis on Cisco from Palomar College in 2013. Recently, in 2022, Ian completed a Career Extension Cybersecurity Course from San Diego State University, focusing on Cyber Security. In addition to their formal education, Ian has obtained various certifications in cybersecurity, including Cybersecurity Program, DFIR & Threat Hunting, Game Theory Strategy in Cybersecurity, Offensive Security: Ethical Hacking, Introduction to Python for Security, Cyber Infrastructure & Technology, Network Security, Linux Security, Cloud Security, Computer Networking, and Microsoft Security, all obtained in 2022 from Canvas Credentials (Badgr).
