Implementation Specialist at Fluxx

Katy Ajer has been working in the field of program development and implementation for over five years. Katy started their career at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, where they served as Program Director World Hunger - International. In this role, Katy was responsible for managing the World Hunger International team, providing direction and oversight in program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and communications regarding ELCA World Hunger. Katy also facilitated the World Hunger budget development and subsequent monitoring - $16 million per annum.

During their time at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Katy made a number of significant contributions to the organization. Katy oversaw the presentation of the program narrative to internal and external audiences through work with marketing and fundraising staff. Katy also spearheaded a community of practice group to discuss and learn together about monitoring and evaluation techniques. In addition, Katy improved data collection and reporting by implementing the use of a web-based grant software.

In January 2022, Katy left the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to take on a new role as Implementation Specialist at Fluxx. In their current role, Katy is responsible for helping Fluxx customers implement and use the Fluxx Grantmaking software.

Katy Ajer has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology/Theirtory from Gustavus Adolphus College. Katy also has certification from the CHRISTIAN HEALTH SERVICE CORPS in Core Humanitarian Standards and Sphere Standards.

Katy Ajer reports to Melissa Caldwell, VP, Customer Onboarding & Success. They are on a team with Kerri Barron - Senior Solution Consultant, Teddy Ritter - Onboarding Specialist, and Emily Mumford - Manager, Customer Onboarding.
