Mohannad Alsalmi

Mohannad AlSalmi has a diverse work experience spanning several years. In 2007, they began their career at Saudi Arabian Airlines as an Assistant Project Director and Technology Transformation Manager. Mohannad later held the position of Snr. Communication System Engineer "A" before moving on to SITA in 2008. At SITA, they served as a Project Manager, PMP from June 2008 to October 2011, followed by roles including Operation Director, Head of Client Service Management for Middle East, North Africa, and India, and Senior Territory Manager. In 2019, they joined flyadeal as the Director of Information Technology and was promoted to Chief Information Officer in July 2021.

Mohannad AlSalmi earned a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Electronic and Communication, from King Abdulaziz University between 1991 and 1996. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including becoming a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach in 2023 and completing a Diploma in Leadership and Management from IATA Training in 2021. Other certifications include Certified Scrum Master, CISM Cert Prep in Information Security Governance, Managing Your Time, Leading a Customer-Centric Culture, International Certificate in Advanced Leadership Skills, Certified Business Operations Professional (CBOP), ITIL Foundation v3 (ITIL), Project Management Professional (PMP), and TCP/IP Network Analyst.
