Shaun McConnell

Shaun McConnell is an experienced airline captain currently at Flybe since 2006. Prior to this role, Shaun served as a pilot at BA Connect from 2006 to 2007 and worked as the Deputy Chief Flight Instructor at Sky Leisure from 2003 to 2006. Shaun's earlier career includes a position as DPU Manager at the Arts Council from 2001 to 2002, and as an Account Executive at Amdahl from 1988 to 2001. Shaun has also held roles as a Database Administrator at Legal and General between 1983 and 1985, a Programmer at Natwest from 1980 to 1982, and a Data Controller at Great Universal Stores and GUS from 1976 to 1980. Shaun holds a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Sheffield, obtained from 1977 to 1980, and attended Xaverian College Manchester from 1970 to 1976.
