Chinmay Vaishampayan

Chinmay Vaishampayan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chinmay began their career at IIT Bombay as a System Administrator, where they managed various servers and provided technical assistance during important events. After their time at IIT Bombay, they joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, working on the "Local Relevance" team for Bing search engine. At Microsoft, they focused on query understanding, search result ranking, and improving relevance and user experience. Following their stint at Microsoft, Chinmay worked at Snapdeal as a Senior Software Engineer and then at Sumo Logic as a Backend Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at Flyhomes, where they held positions as a Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, Engineering Lead, and is currently serving as a Principal Engineer.

Chinmay Vaishampayan earned a M.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2009-2012. Prior to that, they obtained a BE degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya from 2005-2009. Additionally, they have completed certifications in Machine Learning Foundations, R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and Machine Learning from Coursera.
