Liya Z.

Liya Z. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Liya began their career as an Event Planning Intern and ASP Team Leader at INCLUDED, where they organized family courses and supervised volunteer teachers and assistants. Liya then worked as an English Teacher at New Oriental Education & Technology Group, teaching grammar and reading skills to students of different ages. Liya later served as a Market Research Intern at the Association for Trauma Outreach and Prevention (ATOP) Meaningful World, conducting marketing analysis and assisting with training seminars. Liya then joined WeHousing, initially as an Assistant Marketing Manager and eventually as a Regional Manager, where they developed marketing and sales solutions for a student housing start-up, accelerated sales growth, and increased revenue. Following their time at WeHousing, Liya worked as a Marketing and Business Specialist at Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., where they collaborated with teams, created strategies to support sales initiatives, and addressed client issues. Most recently, Liya joined Flyhomes as a Brokerage Sales Manager and Principal Agent, where they utilize their skills and experience in managing sales and serving clients.

Liya Z. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chinese Language and Literature from Beijing Language and Culture University in the period from 2009 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Public Policy from Stony Brook University from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Liya has obtained several certifications in data science and related fields from various institutions such as Coursera and Udemy.
