Fergus Caldicott has extensive work experience in technology leadership roles. Fergus is currently the Chief Technology Officer at FLYING Magazine since September 2022. Previously, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at TaliPay from August 2021 to July 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at FreightWaves from August 2018 to July 2021.
Fergus also held various positions at DAT Solutions, including Vice President Technology (CTO) from December 2013 to August 2018. Fergus was also the General Manager at Getloaded, a subsidiary of DAT, from August 2011 to December 2013. Fergus also served as the Software Development Manager at vCom Solutions (formerly QuantumShift) from October 1999 to January 2003, where they managed the development of a SaaS solution.
Fergus began their career at Mars Incorporated as the European Voice Systems Manager from July 1997 to June 1999, where they were responsible for the overall voice telecommunications strategy and implementation in the EMEA region. Fergus also worked at BT (formerly BT Cellnet, now Telefónica O2) as a Senior Business Systems Analyst from October 1994 to July 1997, overseeing development initiatives in the corporate segment of BT's cellular network business.
Fergus Caldicott holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire. Fergus also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
