Halbe van Den Berg

Halbe van den Berg is a senior VAT advisor with extensive experience in tax consultancy and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Sr. btw-adviseur at Flynth adviseurs en accountants since January 2023, Halbe previously held the position of Senior btw-adviseur at Countus accountants + adviseurs from January 2013 to December 2022, where responsibilities included handling and advising on VAT issues for both nonprofit and profit sectors. Prior to that, Halbe worked as a senior VAT advisor at Accon avm from May 2008 to December 2012 and spent over 22 years at Belastingdienst, specializing in VAT control and advisory practices. Halbe’s career also includes roles in education committees and customs, with foundational training obtained through the controleursopleiding at Belastingdienst from 1991 to 1994.
