Jakub Tomiak

Jakub Tomiak has experience working as a DevOps Engineer at FLYR Labs since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at HSBC as a Cloud DevOps Engineer from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for researching and testing new technologies within GCP and K8s to improve scalability and performance. Jakub also developed reusable cloud patterns and debugged technical issues on the GCP. Before HSBC, Jakub worked at Accenture as a DevOps Engineer in 2021. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at EPAM Systems as a System Engineer, starting out as a Junior System Engineer before being promoted.

Jakub Tomiak attended Akademia Pedagogiczna im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie from 2017 to 2021, earning a degree in Informatyka (Engineering). In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications in various fields such as Istio, GitLab, cloud engineering, Terraform, and automation. These certifications were obtained between May and September 2021 from institutions such as solo.io, GitLab, Tetrate, Google, HashiCorp, and Red Hat.
