John Dummer

John Dummer is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Highmark Inc. since May 2022, and as a PMB Bartender at Flyspace Productions since October 2023, John previously held the position of Senior Data Engineer at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and various roles at Highmark Inc., including Senior Analytic Data Integrator and Business Intelligence Engineer. With a strong foundation in technical platform support from PNC and diverse roles ranging from Business Analyst Intern at Mitsubishi Electric to Front End Coordinator at Giant Eagle, John has developed a robust skill set in data management, analytics, and business intelligence. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Data Analytics and a Bachelor of Science in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Information Security, both from Robert Morris University.
