Michelle Ardiel has worked in various roles since 1999. Michelle was a Teacher for School District 63 from 1999 to 2000, a Substitute Teacher for St Margaret's School from 2000 to 2001, a Private Teacher for SEB Management from 2001 to 2004, and a Principal Designer for their own company, Michelle Ardiel Design, from 2004 to 2013. From 2013 to present, they have been the Head of Brand, Creative Director, and Director of Photographer Operations for Flytographer. In their role as Principal Designer, they designed home plans, interior layouts and furnishings, oversaw construction and renovations of homes, and created materials for graphic collateral.
Michelle Ardiel has a varied educational background. Michelle obtained a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria between 1990 and 1995. Michelle also attended the University of Alberta's Faculté St-Jean in 1990 to study French Language and Literature. In 1991, they studied French Language and Literature at Université Laval. Finally, they obtained a PDPP in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Victoria in 1999-2000. Additionally, they hold a LEED-AP certification from the Canada Green Building Council - CaGBC and a Post Degree Professional Certificate from the University of Victoria.
