Andrew Brannan has a wealth of experience in software engineering and project management. Andrew began their career in 2011 as a Signal Processing Engineer Intern at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they conducted research into multi-path interference and signal jamming in GNSS (GPS and Galileo) systems. In 2012, they joined Callisto Integration as a Controls Engineer, where they delivered mission critical controls solutions in manufacturing, material handling, and pharmaceutical industries. In 2013, they worked as a Project Manager at Queen's University, where they managed and supervised three teams of engineering students working to complete their first year design projects. In 2015, they joined Converge - We're Hiring! as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they developed the core embedded software in C for an ultra-low-power wireless monitoring product. In 2018, they joined Beryl as a Backend Software Engineer, where they developed and supported APIs, distributed event workers, data pipelines, and microservices built on top of Python, Kubernetes, and GCP. Finally, in 2022, they joined Flywheel Software as a Backend Platform Engineer.
Andrew Brannan obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University between 2009 and 2014.
