Sophia Jumatate

Sophia Jumatate is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in payment operations and cash management. Currently serving as the Payment Operations Team Lead at Flywire since January 2019, Sophia has held multiple roles, including Senior Cash Management & Treasury for the Americas. Prior to Flywire, Sophia worked as a Billing Assistant at Conduent, where responsibilities included ensuring timely billing processes for FIRMENICH in Latin America. In addition, Sophia managed a biennial study on international professionals during a project management position at Barcelona Global and gained valuable experience as a Consular Intern at the U.S. Department of State. Sophia holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and International Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago.
