Sean Gillis

Sean Gillis is an experienced advanced engineer currently working at FM Approvals since September 2016. Previously, Sean held roles at NFPA, including Co-Op Project Manager for the Fire Protection Research Foundation and Fire Protection Engineer Intern, where research contributed to the development of fire codes. An internship at Cosentini Associates involved producing code compliance reports and conducting life safety and accessibility reviews. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, a student co-op experience at the London Borough of Hounslow focused on creating an integrated Incident Management System.
