Kamal Uddin

Kamal Uddin has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Most recently, they worked at FM Conway Ltd as the Director of IT & Transformation, overseeing strategic business transformation, business intelligence, and IT services. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Business Transformation & Technology, focusing on aligning people, processes, and technology to achieve operational improvements and support decision-making. Kamal also worked as a Programme Manager, leading a suite of cross-functional business change projects. Before joining FM Conway Ltd, Kamal worked at Lewisham Council as a Business Analyst / Project Manager, where they implemented a citizen engagement mobile solution and managed mobile technology solutions. Kamal also served as a System Administrator at Lewisham Council. In addition, they have experience working as a Business Development Consultant at Bbits Ltd, successfully bidding for mobile technology solutions contracts. Earlier in their career, Kamal worked as a Retail Sales Consultant at Orange.

Kamal Uddin began their education at Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. Following this, from 1998 to 2001, Kamal attended the University of Northampton, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Honors in Business Information Systems.

In terms of certifications, Kamal obtained the LEAN practitioner certification from BSI in November 2017. Kamal also obtained the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2017. Additionally, Kamal holds the certification of Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance, although the date of obtaining this certification is not provided. Kamal has also pursued the ISEB IT Architecture certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and the ITIL v3 IT Service Management Foundation certification, but the details of when and where they obtained these certifications are unknown. Lastly, Kamal has pursued the Prince 2 Practitioner certification from APMG-International, but the date of obtaining this certification is also unknown.
