Alessandro Milano

Alessandro Milano, CPCU, ARe has a diverse work experience in the insurance and engineering industries.

Starting in 2011, Milano joined FM Global and held various roles. Alessandro worked as a Consultant Engineer, where they assessed risks and developed customized engineering solutions for clients. Alessandro then became a Business Development Executive, responsible for analyzing business exposures and developing tailored risk management programs for prospective clients in Italy. Milano later served as an Account Manager for chemical operations, building relationships with existing clients in the Americas and identifying their risk management needs. Finally, they worked as an Operations Vice President, serving as the Operations Chief Underwriter.

Prior to joining FM Global, Milano worked as a Loss Prevention Engineer at Saipem S.p.A., specializing in HSE and loss prevention.

Additionally, Milano conducted research as a Researcher at Politecnico di Milano.

Throughout their career, Milano has demonstrated expertise in risk management, client relationship management, and engineering solutions.

Alessandro Milano, CPCU, ARe has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Alessandro also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Energetic Engineering from the same institution, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. In 2023, Alessandro completed the Leadership and Management Certificate Program from Wharton Online. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) certification and is a CPCU in Good Standing, both obtained in December 2023 from The Institutes Knowledge Group.
