Julian Buchynski

Julian Buchynski has extensive experience in risk management and trading in the financial and chemical industries. Julian is currently working as the Vice President of Investment Risk Management at FM Global. Prior to that, they held roles such as Director of Risk Control at Tyson Foods, Commodity/Energy Risk Director at Dow Chemical Canada, and North American Commodity/Energy Risk Director at Dow Hydrocarbons and Resources LLC. Julian has also worked as a Senior Treasury Financial Risk Manager at Dow Chemical, FX and Interest Rate Specialist/Risk Manager at ICAP, Director of Foreign Exchange Forwards/Interest Rate Trader at HypoVereinsbank, and FX/Interest Rate Trader at First Chicago and J.P. Morgan.

Julian Buchynski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from DePaul University, attending from 1992 to 1995. Julian further pursued their education at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, obtaining an MBA with a focus on Finance and Economics from 1999 to 2002.
