Sam Mello

Sam Mello, CFA has extensive work experience in investment operations, analytics, and analysis. Sam is currently the Vice President of Investment Operations at FM Global, starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Investment Operations at Cambridge Associates from December 2019 to April 2023. Sam also worked at GMO, where they held various roles including Co-Head of Operations from February 2015 to December 2019, Co-Head of Investment Analytics from December 2007 to February 2015, and Investment Analyst from September 2003 to December 2007. During their time at GMO, they provided support to the firm's hedge fund strategies and various investment teams, specializing in performance, attribution, and risk analysis.

Sam Mello, CFA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wheaton College Massachusetts. Sam also has an MBA/MSF from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Generative AI for Business Leaders from LinkedIn in 2023.
