Richard McDowell

Richard McDowell is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and product management, currently serving as the Global Regulatory Affairs Product Manager at FMC Corporation since May 2018. In this role, Richard leads the global regulatory strategy for crop protection products, particularly focusing on fungicides and herbicides. Prior to joining FMC, Richard held significant positions at DuPont Crop Protection from July 2001 to May 2018, where responsibilities included managing global product registrations for key fungicides and supporting the growth of the fungicide portfolio. Richard's career began in research as a scientist, developing products in insect control and plant disease management over an eleven-year period. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Delaware and has a solid academic foundation from Newark High School.
