Chris Wagner

Chris Wagner has over seven years of experience in the fitness industry. From 2015 to 2022, they served as Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Optimist Fitness LLC & Novus Fitness LLC. In this role, they were Head of Innovation and Product Development, and was responsible for inventing patented and licensed fitness and rehabilitation products used by professional and Olympic athletes and the US armed forces. Chris also authored numerous patent applications, managed a team of patent attorneys, engineers, and manufacturers, created marketing material, and was involved in business development and strategy and licensing negotiations. In 2022, they began their current role as Director of Operations at FMKLABS.

Chris Wagner attended The University of Texas Permian Basin from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Chris then attended Columbia University from 2020 to 2021, earning a Master of Science in Neuroscience.
