Carrie Walczak

Carrie Walczak is a Senior Sustainability Strategy Advisor at FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, focusing on climate and environmental sustainability since October 2020. Previously, Carrie served as Director of Investment Management at Finance in Motion, leading the Green for Growth Fund with a focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency projects from February 2013 to September 2020. Prior experience includes roles at BNP Paribas Fortis in project finance for energy projects in the EMEA region, and as an independent consultant specializing in renewable energy finance in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa. Carrie also held the position of Country Manager for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, overseeing infrastructure and energy projects in Eastern and Southern Africa. Academic credentials include a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University with a double major in International Relations and German.
