Gilles Vercammen

Gilles Vercammen is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Officer at FMO - Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank since January 2019, focusing on private equity for funds and corporates, as well as financial institutions across Africa and Latin America. Prior to this role, Gilles was the Deputy CEO at FPM from March 2015 to December 2018, where efforts were directed toward supporting sustainable financial development in the DRC. Previous positions include Business Development Manager at Incofin Investment Management and Strategic Analyst at ENGIE Electrabel. Gilles holds a Master's degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School. Academic credentials also include a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp.
