Pieternel Boogaard

Pieternel Boogaard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in private equity and agribusiness. Currently serving as the Director of Private Equity (ad interim) at FMO since September 2018, Pieternel has also held significant roles such as Global Head of Agribusiness, Food & Water at KERNEL and Chair of the Steering Committee for the Netherlands Food Partnership. Prior experience includes managing director positions at ING, overseeing financial transactions in the food and agriculture sectors across Europe and Central and Eastern Europe. Pieternel's educational background includes a law degree from Leiden University, a master’s course in Food & Agri from Wageningen University, and executive education from Harvard Business School, highlighting a strong foundation in legal and agricultural expertise.
