A graduate of the Chambre de Commerce Franco-Allemande (French-German Chamber of Commerce) and the École supérieure de commerce de Paris (ESCP Business School), Laure Hauseux also holds a specialized post-graduate diploma (DESS) in Contrôle de Gestion (management control) and an Executive MBA from the INSEAD business school while at PPR (now Kering).
She began her professional career in 1984 at Control Data France as a Financial Controller before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 1987. In 1994, she joined the Gérard Pasquier group where she successfully managed the sale of the company. In 1997, she joined the Fnac Group as Group Financial Controller and became Store Manager of the Parly 2 store in 2002. In 2004, she was appointed General Secretary/CFO of the Printemps group. In this role, Laure managed the financial strategy behind the sale of Printemps. In 2007, she became Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Conforama Italia. In 2009, she was appointed as Vice President Finance & Information Systems and Services at Inergy Automotive Systems, before becoming Deputy General Manager of Virgin in 2010 and then Chief Executive Officer of GAC Group in 2014.
Laure was a member of the boards of directors of Zodiac Aerospace (2011–2018), Casino Group (2018–2021) and EUROPEAN CAMPING GROUP (2018–2021). She has also been a board member of OGF since April 2014, Maisons du Monde since June 2020, Pomona since June 2020 and Plastivaloire since June 2021. Laure is Chair of several strategic advisory boards across a range of sectors at Bpifrance.
