Zaid Yousif, P. Eng. is an experienced electrical engineer with extensive expertise in renewables, energy storage systems, and power system analysis. Currently serving as Team Lead for Renewables at FNX-INNOV since May 2019, Zaid has successfully managed multiple projects involving renewable energy and utility substations. Prior roles include Senior Electrical Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Stantec, where Zaid designed electrical systems for various industries, and Team Lead at DELTRO Group, focusing on battery energy storage systems and microgrids. Zaid's career began at DEWA, where significant project management and engineering roles were held, further complemented by positions at ABB and VATECH-Reyrolle. Zaid holds a Bachelor of Science in Power Electrical Engineering from Baghdad University and completed a technical course in Power System Transient Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
