Josh Hunt has extensive work experience in the financial technology industry, with a strong focus on product strategy, platform ownership, and integration. Josh began their career at the Toronto Dominion Bank as an Assistant Dealer, where they developed efficient spreadsheet-based applications. Josh then worked at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management as a Transaction Support responsible for settlement activities.

After that, they joined Dresdner RCM Global Investors, where they served as a Business Systems Support and played a key role in implementing a straight-through processing project. Josh also worked at Princeton Financial Systems, where they held multiple roles, including Client Relationship Manager and Manager of Client Support. In these positions, they improved client relationships and managed technical and business staff to provide better support.

Josh Hunt further expanded their skills at SimCorp as a Business Consultant before joining First Treasury Pty as a Principal Consultant. At First Treasury Pty, they generated sales leads, acted as a project manager and lead consultant, and was a domain expert in system integration.

Josh's experience continued at Quanta6 Financial Systems, where they were a Founding Partner responsible for the governance of business operations and product development. Josh successfully built a transactional FX system for retail FX Brokers.

Most recently, Josh Hunt held the role of Product Strategy at NZX Wealth Technologies before joining FNZ Group as Head of Product in 2023.

Josh Hunt's education history includes obtaining a BBus IT degree and a Graduate Diploma in Business from Auckland University of Technology between 2002 and 2004.
