Mette Damm Sørensen

Mette Damm Sørensen is an experienced professional in IT development and management, currently serving as Sektionsleder IT udvikling at FOA since June 2022. Mette has held various leadership roles at Skatteankestyrelsen from September 2016 to June 2022, including Fungerende kontorchef and Program- og teamleder. Prior experience includes Project Manager at Vallensbæk Kommune, a Meta Data Quality Analyst at Netflix, and an English-Danish Content Analyst at Apple. Mette's marketing expertise was cultivated as Head of PR & Marketing at Racing4kids and Marketing Manager at Handicare, where strategic communication and marketing projects were implemented. Mette began a career in journalism at Mac Elle Publishing and Vesterbro Urban Renewal Center. Mette holds a Master's degree in Danish Literature and Communications from the University of Copenhagen, along with a Bachelor's degree in Danish Literature and Media from the University of Southern Denmark.
