Michael Shinn

Michael Shinn has over 20 years of experience in the recruitment and talent acquisition field. Starting in 1996, they served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. In 2005, they became the Recruiting Manager at Ciber Global, a SAP Systems Integration Firm, where they managed all full-life-cycle recruiting. In 2010, they took on two roles, becoming the Executive & Technical Recruiter at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, and the Senior Technical Recruiter at Magenic, an IT Consulting firm focused on the Microsoft Platform. In 2018, they became the Senior Recruitment Consultant at UpCounsel, Inc. and in 2019 they became the Senior Technical & Executive Recruiter at Xero, a cloud-based accounting software. Finally, in 2020, they became the Head of Recruiting at Focal Systems, the industry leader in Retail AI solutions. Michael is also the Founder/Managing Director at Intuitif Partners, a full-service Executive Search/Talent Acquisition firm.

Michael Shinn attended the University of California, Davis, where they earned a Bachelor of Art in Rhetoric/Communications.
