Marc Cote

Marc Cote has extensive experience in various roles within the business and executive coaching, finance, biotech, and consulting industries.

Since 2017, Marc has been working as a Certified Master Business & Executive Coach and Area Rep for New England & South Florida at FocalPoint. In this role, they help business leaders and executives overcome obstacles, improve leadership, and achieve success.

In the same year, Marc also became the Boston Chapter Chair at The Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG), where they manage a membership of over 3,000 finance professionals.

Prior to these roles, Marc was a Member at Boston Harbor Angels Inc. starting in 2012. Marc also served as the Entrepreneur University Working Group Co-Chair and a Forum Advisory Group Member at MassBio from 2013 to the present.

As a Board Observer, representing Boston Harbor Angels, Marc contributed to Tetragenetics Inc., a biotech company focused on therapeutics for autoimmune disease and pain. However, as of September 2021, Tetragenetics was acquired by AbCellera.

Marc co-founded and served as the COO/CFO of Ternus Pharma, Inc. from 2014 to 2019, where they were responsible for corporate advice, investor outreach, and finance.

From 2010 to 2018, Marc co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Accellient Partners, LLC, a drug development consultancy. Marc managed the financial, operational, and business development activities for start-up and emerging biotech companies.

In addition, Marc co-founded Synchroneuron Inc. and worked as the CFO/COO from 2011 to 2016.

Prior to their roles in the biotech industry, Marc worked at Aptuit Consulting, Inc. as the Chief Operating Officer from 2007 to 2010 and as a Senior Director and Controller - Consulting from 2006 to 2007. In these roles, they played a key part in growing the consulting business and evaluating potential acquisitions.

Marc Cote attended Bentley University from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting.
