Abdullah Bokhari

Abdullah Bokhari's work experience begins with their current role as a Director of Enterprise Data Engineering at Focus Brands LLC, which they started in August 2023. In this role, they lead data strategy initiatives, mentors and guides the team in agile execution and innovation, strengthens the data platform through the adoption of state-of-the-art technology, and promotes cross-functional collaboration.

Prior to their current role, Abdullah worked as the Principal Data Architect - Cloud Data Platform at Focus Brands LLC from August 2022 to August 2023.

Before joining Focus Brands LLC, Abdullah served as the Manager of Data Engineering and Delivery at Aspirent from May 2021 to August 2022.

From August 2018 to May 2021, they worked at Inspire Brands as a Technical Lead and Data Architect for the Modern Big Data Platform, and prior to that, Abdullah was a Team Lead for the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Apps at the same company from October 2016 to August 2018.

In 2016, Abdullah worked as a Senior Data Consultant at TEKsystems, where they played a role in understanding and improving the existing Data Warehouse Architecture.

Earlier in their career, Abdullah held positions as a Senior ETL Architect at Thirty-One Gifts from August 2013 to April 2016, a Technical Lead at SchoolCity Inc. from March 2007 to June 2013, and an Application Developer at YSMF Inc. from October 2006 to February 2007.

Abdullah's work experience also includes a role as a Research Analyst at PIEAS from January 2002 to August 2003, where they were involved in various development projects and delivered technical presentations.

Abdullah Bokhari obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) in 2001. Abdullah then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology from International Islamic University, Islamabad, from 2002 to 2003. Later, they received a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from Kennesaw State University in 2006. Additionally, Abdullah has certifications in PMP (Project Management Professional) from PMI and SCJP (Sun Certified Java Professional) from Oracle.
