Jack Spitsin

Jack is responsible for business development and M&A activities, with an emphasis on executing direct transactions on behalf of Focus, as well as merger transactions on behalf of the partner firms. He also works closely with several Focus partner firms on strategic initiatives to accelerate their growth.

Prior to joining Focus, Jack was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley, focused on advising clients in the Financial Institutions Group on M&A and capital raising efforts. Previously, he worked at HSBC in a variety of roles in risk management and stress testing, most recently as a Vice President in Risk Strategy.

Jack received an MBA from Columbia University, as well as a BBA in Finance from Baruch College. Born and raised in Russia, Jack has lived in New York City for 15 years and currently resides in San Francisco.
