Rick Thompson

Rick Thompson is responsible for the firm’s financial operations, capital structure, financial reporting, tax filings, human resources, and information technology. Mr. Thompson formerly served as Managers of Corporate Finance and Revenue Recognition for GTSI a publicly traded company in Chantilly, Virginia. Mr. Thompson is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia with a solid record of accomplishments emphasizing a broad range of financially related matters to include treasury management, financial planning & analysis, SOX compliance, revenue recognition, systems implementation, and project management. Mr. Thompson is also a Series 28 Introducing Broker/Dealer Financial and Operations Principal and has over five years experience in writing and testing policies and procedures and internal controls that comply with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and OMB A-123 "Management’s Responsibility for Internal Control" regulations.

Mr. Thompson has served in advancing roles with medium to large organizations with Cyntergy, Consumer Electronics Association, Grant Thornton LLP, and GTSI. Mr. Thompson holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Virginia Tech.
