Director Of Church Engagement at Focus on the Family

Josh Zeichik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Josh started their career at Austin Bluffs Evangelical Free Church as a Youth Intern in 2006. Later, they served as a Youth Director at Compass Evangelical Free Church from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, Josh joined Central Bank as a Customer Service Representative, where they worked until 2017. During their time at Central Bank, they also took on the role of Campus Pastor at Karis Church from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Focus on the Family as a Gift Planning Officer, and gradually progressed to the position of Director of Planned Giving. In 2021, they also became an Adjunct Professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, showcasing their expertise in teaching as well. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Church Engagement at Focus on the Family.

Josh Zeichik has a strong educational background in biblical counseling. Josh started their education journey in 2003 and graduated from The Master's University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling. Josh continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Masters degree in Biblical Counseling in 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctoral degree in Biblical Counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Josh has also earned a certification as a Certified Biblical Counselor from the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
