Megan Malnar

Megan Malnar is an accomplished educator and events professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Events Director and previously as Events Manager at Focus on the Family since January 2022, Megan has demonstrated expertise in event planning and coordination. Prior to this, Megan worked as a Long-Term Substitute at Academy, School District No. 20, where responsibilities included teaching multiple subjects and maintaining a positive learning environment for middle school students. From August 2013 to July 2021, Megan was an English Language Arts Teacher at Southlake Carroll ISD, focusing on 8th Grade curriculum and enhancing online learning experiences. Additionally, from August 2010 to July 2013, Megan managed child sponsorship and education initiatives for Family Legacy Missions International, where leadership involved establishing schools and collaborating with local social welfare agencies. Megan began the career as an English Language Arts Teacher at Richardson ISD from August 2008 to August 2010. Megan holds a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University, completed in 2008.
