Rebecca Shafer

Rebecca Shafer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rebecca began their career as a Youth Care Worker at Family Resources in 2005 and held the position until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Division of Administrative Hearings. In 2011, they transitioned to the Florida Department of Children and Families, where they served as an Abuse Counselor until 2012. Following this, they worked as a Case Manager at Family Resources from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined the School District of Manatee County as a Computer Lab Manager for a year. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist at the State College of Florida Collegiate School, and then took on the role of Technology Coordinator until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Support Technician at Focus School Software, starting in 2021.

Rebecca Shafer completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Social Sciences from the University of South Florida, where they studied from 1999 to 2010. Rebecca further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Learning Design and Technology from the University of South Florida, completing their studies from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, Rebecca obtained the Jamf Certified Associate certification in November 2018.
