Garrett Haufschild has a diverse background in software engineering and IT. Garrett started their career as a Summer Camp Counselor at Canlan Ice Sports in 2016. In 2017, they worked as an Information Technology Intern at Pepper Construction Group, where they performed computer profiling, website development, and number porting tasks. Garrett then interned at Bank of America in 2018 and 2019 as a Software Engineer, contributing to Java Spring Boot projects focused on check exceptions and database operations. Garrett utilized SCRUM-based Agile methodologies and various tools such as Eclipse, Tortoise SVN, and SOAP UI. In 2019, they also served as a Web Developer at Ace Computers, maintaining and updating websites. From 2020 to 2022, Garrett worked as a Software Engineer at Bank of America, playing a pivotal role in a Java Spring Boot microservices project and taking on additional responsibilities as a co-team lead. Garrett contributed to automating processes, collaborated with teams, and assisted with testing. Currently, Garrett is working as a Software Engineering Consultant at Focused Labs. Their responsibilities include full-stack development using React and Java/Kotlin Spring Boot. Garrett has also worked with various technologies such as Kafka, Salesforce, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure to establish robust CI/CD pipelines and automate customer approval processes.
Garrett Haufschild pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, completing their education from 2016 to 2020.
