Victor Xingsheng Liu

Victor Xingsheng Liu has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and engineering. From 2008 to present, they have been the CEO & President of Focuslight Technologies, a company that develops and manufactures high power diode lasers and micro optics. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Process Engineering at nLight in 2006 and as a Sr. Staff Engineer at Coherent Inc in 2006. Victor Xingsheng also worked as a Sr. Research Scientist at Corning Inc from 2001 to 2006.

Victor Xingsheng Liu earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering/Electronic Packaging from Virginia Tech between 1998 and 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Peking University from 1995 to 1998, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Shaanxi Normal University from 1991 to 1995.
