Stacey Paris McCutcheon has over 30 years of experience in communications, public relations, and education. From 1990 to 1994, they were the West Coast PR Manager at Studley, where they developed and managed a public relations program for five West Coast commercial real estate offices. In 1994, they founded Cypress Communications, providing public relations activities for clients in commercial real estate, law, architecture, property management, consumer software and non-profit. From 2000 to 2015, they worked as a contract writer and editor, co-authoring academic papers for medical journals and writing investment summaries, market research reports, and private placement memoranda for a real estate investment firm. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Writer/Editor at Sutter Health - Palo Alto Medical Foundation and Mills-Peninsula Health Services, combining research with physician and patient interviews to write website copy, feature stories for internal and external audiences, press releases, blogs, and social media posts. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Manager, Communications and Academic Projects at Stanford University, as well as Senior Manager, Teaching Materials and Academic Projects at Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign. Currently, they are the Director of Communications and Education at Fogarty Innovation.
