David Mason

David Mason is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic advisor with extensive experience in the technology and retail sectors. Currently serves as a Strategic Advisor at Corvex since June 2025, while also holding the positions of Founder, Chairman, and CEO of StudioNow, which was started and sold to AOL in 2010. David Mason has been the Founder and Executive Chairman of Octerra since January 2019 and serves as a Strategic Advisor for FOH&BOH, an innovative platform for matching restaurant candidates with jobs. Additionally, David Mason is the Founder and Chairman of BuyHappy, a retail app that provides real-time pricing information. Previous roles include Strategic Advisor at PowerBuy, SVP at AOL StudioNow, and Managing Director Interim CEO of Buy.com Europe. David Mason co-founded SpeedServe and holds a BA in History with Honors from The University of the South, with further studies at King's College London.
