Johan Söderström

Johan Söderström has worked in the public sector for most of their career, with a focus on research and development. Johan started out as a sonar officer in the Swedish Navy, before moving on to the Swedish Defence Research Agency. There, they worked their way up to Deputy Director of Competence and Resources. In 2007, they left the Agency to become a Project Manager at FOI, the Swedish Defence and Security Research Institute. Johan then became Head of Division, Research support and administration at FOI, a position they held for four years. In 2016, they were promoted to Deputy Head of Division. Johan has been in their current role as Senior Adviser at FOI since 2018.
