Katarina Wilhelmsen

Katarina Wilhelmsen is the current director of R&D at FOI. Katarina has also worked as a technical expert at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, an assistant professor at Swedish Armed Forces, and a research director and project manager at Swedish Defence Research Agency. Prior to that, they were an associate professor and lecturer at Stockholm University, and a Ph.D. student at Chalmers University of Technology.

Katarina Wilhelmsen has a Ph.D. in Physics from Chalmers University of Technology and an M.Sc. in Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.

Katarina Wilhelmsen reports to Jens Mattsson, Director-General. They work with Susanne Moberg - Head, Research Support & Administration, Åsa Scott - Head, CBRN Defence & Security, and Susanne Jansson - Director, Finance.
