Teresa Sciore

Director, Business Operations and Customer Support at Folderwave

Teresa Sciore has worked in various roles in the business operations and customer support field since 1998. Teresa began their career at Hewlett Packard Corporation/Compaq Computer as a Business Planning Manager in 1998. In this role, they developed operational and administrative proposals, assessments, analysis, solutions, and implementation plans for many of Compaq’s/HP’s most important nonstandard, complex, and international service accounts. Teresa also project-managed various complex administrative and operational projects and global customer contract implementations in support of Services business. Her efforts improved process consistency and outsourcing administrative functions, resulting in a 30% reduction of services administration costs over a 5-year period.

In 2006, Teresa moved to Hewlett-Packard as a Consultant, Business Compliance, Strategy, and Planning. In this role, they developed and automated Americas Global Procurement Cost Savings Process, using SharePoint Designer and supporting Access database. This eliminated cumbersome, manual reporting, providing on-demand reporting and forecasting and reducing process management effort by 75%. Teresa was also a finalist for a global organizational award for this effort. Additionally, they re-engineered Procurement Bid and Account Support processes and designed and created a series of customized procurement request SharePoint sites. This resulted in improved organizational effectiveness and responsiveness to business needs, facilitated day-to-day management oversight and resource allocation, and streamlined operational and management reporting. Monthly reporting cycle time was reduced from 3-4 days to less than 4 hours.

In 2011, Teresa became a Contractor at Staples through Sapphire Technologies as a Procure-to-Pay Consultant. In this role, they developed metrics and measurement structure for procure-to-pay function, closed business controls gaps in procurement and payment processes, and improved and formalized communications between the offshore partner and Staples vendors. Teresa also worked with the offshore partner to improve operating procedure documentation.

In 2012, Teresa joined FolderWave, Inc. as the Director, Business Operations and Customer Support. In this role, they were responsible for financial, vendor, contract management, business and process analysis, operational and performance reporting and metrics, and business compliance. Teresa also managed the FolderWave Customer Support organization.

Teresa Sciore attended Colby College from 1973 to 1977, earning a BA in Economics/Math. Teresa then attended Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 1978 to 1981, earning an MBA in Accounting and Marketing.
