Sam Sayad has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In recent years, they have held positions at Foley Family Wines, where they have served as the Vice President of Business Development & Trade Relations since August 2023. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Ferrari-Carano, Foley Sonoma, and Banshee from June 2022 to August 2023, and the Estate Director of Ferrari-Carano from June 2021 to June 2022.
Before their time at Foley Family Wines, Sam worked at the Golden State Warriors as the Senior Director of Guest Experiences from October 2020 to June 2021, and as the Director of Guest Experiences from November 2018 to October 2020.
Sam also gained experience at the Sacramento Kings, where they held the role of Director of Guest Experience from July 2017 to November 2018, and Manager of Guest Services from December 2015 to July 2017.
Earlier in their career, Sam worked at the Oakland Athletics as a Guest Services Assistant from January 2015 to December 2015, and as a Guest Services Ambassador from March 2014 to January 2015.
Sam also worked as a Community Relations Assistant at the San Rafael Pacifics Baseball Club from January 2014 to July 2014, and as an Assistant at the Monterey Bay Salmon & Trout Project from August 2011 to September 2012.
Sam Sayad attended Carmel High School, but no specific dates are provided. After high school, Sam attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies. In terms of additional certifications, Sam obtained a Cyber Security certificate from the National Basketball Association (NBA) in May 2018, a Sensory Initiative Training certificate from KultureCity in February 2018, and became an NBA ELEVATE Ambassador through the Disney Institute in August 2016. The obtained month and year for the TEAM Trainer (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) certificate and the Trained Crowd Manager certificate are not provided.
