My Svensdotter Almqvist is an experienced Environmental Health Analyst at The Public Health Agency of Sweden since June 2017. Previous roles include Project Coordinator/Research Assistant at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, where involvement included significant projects such as The Lancet Commission on Climate Change, and independent consulting for the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control and the Ministry of the Environment, focusing on infectious diseases and ecosystem services, respectively. Earlier experience includes working as a Public Health Officer at the Centre of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Environmental Medicine, contributing to key research on climate change and health impacts. My Svensdotter Almqvist holds a Master of Medical Science in Global Health and a Master of Science in Globalization, Environment, and Social Change, complemented by a Bachelor's in Public Health from Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University.
