Ibu Karel has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry. In 2021, they were the Creator of Media and Founder and Host at AlgoHQ. In 2022, they were the Head of Ecosystem Partnerships at Folks.Finance, as well as the Community Liaison at AB2 Gallery, where they were responsible for connecting creators, collectors, and builders, and conceptualizing and crafting how to take NFTs to the next level. ibu also worked as a Community Manager at Algofi in 2021.

Ibu Karel attended the University of Hartford from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a degree in Vocal Performance with a focus in Classical and RnB.
