Marie Thorsbrink

Marie Thorsbrink is an experienced professional in sustainable finance and regulatory development, currently serving as a Senior Verksamhetsutvecklare at Folksam since August 2025. Prior to this role, Marie was a Member of the Sustainability Reporting Working Group and the Sustainability Standing Committee at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) from September 2022 to August 2025, contributing to policy development and supervisory convergence in sustainability reporting. With a background as a Senior Analyst in Sustainable Finance at Finansinspektionen from January 2014 to August 2025, Marie has extensive expertise in sustainability-related activities within the Swedish FSA Markets division. Previous roles include Senior Advisor for Swedish Investors for Sustainable Development at Sida, Chief Risk Officer at Wassum Värdepappersaktiebolag, and Organizational Advisor for Forum Syd. Marie holds a degree from Stockholm University and studied at the University of Glasgow.
