Pia Skott

Pia Skott has extensive experience in the field of dentistry, currently serving as FoUU-chef at Folktandvården Stockholm AB since August 2005, with a focus on establishing ST education in Orofacial medicine in collaboration with the Karolinska Institute. Pia has held various leadership positions including Forskningschef and Tandvårdsstrateg Orofacial Medicin, overseeing clinical operations at Stockholms Sjukhem and Bromma Sjukhus, and has also led general dental clinics. Prior to these roles, Pia worked as a sjukhustandläkare at Södersjukhuset, combining clinical practice with doctoral studies focusing on infectious diseases. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree with a specialization in Virology from Karolinska Institutet and a dental degree from the same institution, along with specialist competencies in Orofacial medicine.
